Love at First Sight
Helmus and Janet say it was love at first sight when they saw the display board in our showroom. “The matte finish, the wide planks, and the colour immediately appealed to us,” says Janet. They were looking for a floor that would perfectly match the rest of their kitchen and living room — and this was it! “It had to have some texture with knots, that’s what we like. And the colour couldn’t be too light or too dark,” Helmus adds. In the end, they found the perfect match with Floer Village Vinyl – Colmar Country Oak.
The Search for the Perfect Floor
Helmus and Janet have lived in their home for years and are currently in the middle of a major renovation. The floor plays a key role in the transformation — and that’s an understatement. In fact, they were floored not once, but twice! The first time around, they weren’t happy with the laying direction of the floor. That led them to have it redone, this time in a different direction. This also meant extra costs.
