A few months ago, the Groningen-based wholesaler started to expand its warehouse. After 1.5 years, the Floer warehouse was already too small. Floer now has an additional 2000 m2 of space to store its flooring stock. In addition to the new warehouse, there is also a loading bay for loading and unloading the floors.
Delay in warehouse construction
They started removing the bricks and tiles in mid-October. The next step was to prepare the new warehouse, with the aim of gradually increasing the amount of storage space available. Not everything went smoothly, there were some delays in the construction process and, of course, the Dutch weather did not help.
Not quite ready yet
While the renovation was originally due to be completed in early March, the flooring wholesaler has finally been able to use the space to stock floors since April. We are still waiting for the loading bay to be able to receive the pallets of floors. In any case, the extra square metres will enable Floer to make further significant progress in the new warehouse!
