Floer is expanding, which means 2000 m2 more warehouse storage space for Floer! At the beginning of 2021, the Groningen flooring wholesaler moved to its new address, Protonstraat 18, because the old premises had become too small. The young company was growing so fast that after only one and a half years they decided they needed more space. So they set to work!
Completion and expansion of Floer warehouse
Since mid-October 2022, the land behind the current warehouse has undergone a major and literal overhaul. Where once there was an old paved hillside, there is now a sandy area. Once the sand was completely compacted, pile driving began. These piles will form the framework of the new warehouse. A bit of noise for the Floer colleagues, but what has to be done has to be done!
What’s coming?
Additional warehouse space is coming, including a brand new loading bay! The current Floer warehouse will have an additional 2000 m2 of storage space, enough to store all the floor collections. According to current plans, the new warehouse space and additional loading dock will be ready by mid-February – early March.
