In the bohemian style, white serves as the basic colour, much like in Scandinavian interiors. However, in contrast to Scandi interiors, this white is paired with bright colours and abundant accessories. This is not surprising, as the word “bohemian” comes from French and refers to revolutionaries from the 19th century who were known for their rebelliousness, individualism, and desire for freedom.
