Laminate 2.0? Say hello to hybrid laminate! Laminate floors have been popular for years, and that’s for a reason. They are strong, affordable, and available in countless styles. But a lot has changed in the world of flooring: living preferences are becoming more practical, sustainability is more relevant than ever, and individuals want more from their floor. That’s why Floer is introducing a new generation of laminate: hybrid laminate.
What exactly is hybrid laminate?
To put it simply: hybrid laminate is laminate, but smarter. These floors combine the classic look of wood with modern technology for a better performance and more comfort. Think of:

✓ Water resistance: up to 100 hours
✓ Use class: up to AC6, suitable for heavy commercial use
✓ Sustainably produced: using recycled wood fibres
✓ Scratch-resistant: with an ultra-strong top layer
✓ Advanced click system: easy to install yourself
These floors are designed for actual everyday living. From playful children to messy pets, hybrid laminate floors can handle it all.
Why are our existing laminate floors now called hybrid laminate?
You may have already seen them on our website: floors that were previously simply called laminate now carry the hybrid laminate label. Many of our existing laminate collections already met the criteria for what we consider to be hybrid laminate flooring. Think of water resistance, a strong click system, sustainable production, and a high use class. By calling them hybrid from now on, we make it clear: this is laminate that can do more. A floor that goes beyond the usual.

New hybrid floors in familiar collections
The story doesn’t stop with the name change alone. We expanded our existing collections with new hybrid laminate floors. You can now also find hybrid variants within the Herringbone collection and the City collection.
With smart upgrades such as increased water resistance, an advanced click system, and extra-strong top layers, you can give your interior a classic or modern base that’s ready for today and tomorrow. And the best part? Herringbone is now also available in straight planks, so you can simply choose what suits your style.
New Herringbone collection
The familiar Herringbone collection is receiving a fresh expansion with seven new hybrid laminate floors. Think soft, light shades such as Cream White Oak and Light Oak, warm natural colours like Natural Oak and Greige Oak, and slightly more robust options such as Grey Beige Oak, Sand Grey Oak, and Deep Brown Oak. This means there’s a herringbone floor for every interior style, from modern to classic.

Thanks to its hybrid properties, this collection combines the design of a wooden herringbone floor with the comfort and strength you’d expect from a floor made for everyday living.
New City floors
Prefer a calm plank pattern? The City collection consists of exactly the same seven colours as the Herringbone collection, but in wide, straight planks. This makes the collection perfect for those who love a spacious and clean looking home.
What’s great is that the collections can be easily combined. For example, you can place herringbone floor downstairs and lay the same colour in straight planks upstairs. This creates cohesiveness in your interior, while still keeping every room special in its own way.
