In the world of flooring, nothing ever stands still. Collections evolve, colours return in new designs, and the way we live continues to change. Sometimes a name no longer tells the full story. That’s why Floer has made a small but meaningful change: Village vinyl is now called Nature vinyl. It may feel unfamiliar at first, but this change ultimately brings greater clarity. We’re happy to explain why.

Why the change?

Across our collections, we started to notice something happening more and more often: the same floor colour, but under a different name. This was particularly the case for floors available in both glue-down vinyl and click vinyl. Several Village Vinyl colours already existed within the popular Nature Click Vinyl collection. Visually, they were exactly the same, only the name was different. That didn’t make much sense to us, and probably not to you either. So we decided it was time to bring everything into better alignment.

What exactly has changed?

Village vinyl → Nature vinyl

The full glue-down vinyl collection previously known as Village Vinyl is now called Nature Vinyl. This brings the name in line with the existing Nature Click Vinyl collection.

Same colour = Same name

Colours that are available in both glue-down vinyl and click vinyl now share exactly the same colour name.

So whether you choose:

  • Nature Vinyl (glue-down)
  • or Nature Click Vinyl (click)

You’ll recognise the colour instantly. Simple and clear.

One exception: Casares Cream White Oak

There is one exception to this change. The colour Casares Cream White has also been adopted within the Nature Click Vinyl collection. This keeps this floor fully aligned with the rest of the range.

A short adjustment, long-term clarity

We understand it may take a moment to adjust if you’re familiar with a floor under its previous name. But this change is designed to make choosing simpler and more intuitive.

  • Less confusion
  • More clarity
  • One name per colour

Same colour = same name, regardless of whether you choose glue-down or click vinyl. Much clearer, right?

Does anything change about the floor itself?

No. The floors themselves remain exactly the same in quality, appearance, and performance. Only the name has changed, helping to create a clearer and more logical overview.

Need help choosing?

Not sure whether a floor you’ve seen before now has a new name? Or wondering whether glue-down or click vinyl is the better fit for your home? You’re always welcome to request a sample or visit a Floer dealer near you. Seeing and feeling the floor in person makes choosing that much easier.
