Hybrid Wood against water

The answer to the question of whether Hybrid Wood can be used in the kitchen is simple: Yes! In fact, one of the key features of our Hybrid Wood collection is that the floors are water-resistant and easy to maintain. The Hybrid Wood Herringbone collection is waterproof for 4 hours and the straight planks offer up to 24 hours of water resistance. So don’t worry about a clumsy mess.😝 If you do accidentally spill something, cleaning is a piece of cake. The dirt-and moisture-resistant finish makes your Floer look like new again in just a few simple steps!

Scratch resistance in the kitchen

Hybrid Wood is made to perform, even in busy households. The special lacquer used to finish the surface layer makes the floors exceptionally scratch-resistant. This way, daily wear and tear is kept to a minimum while keeping the Floer looking like new for years to come. So, bring out that inner Gordon Ramsay😉 In addition to the incredible durability, oak wood is known for its beauty, however, it can also be vulnerable to dents. Not ideal for the kitchen you might say…. However, our Hybrid Wood Floors can overcome this problem with advanced Wood-Powder Technology. The fusion of the oak design layer with this technology results in an extremely pressure-resistant layer. Say goodbye to concerns about damage, and hello to culinary delights!

Floating or glueing?

Our Hybrid Wood Floors can be installed either by floating or glueing. Flooring is often laid around the kitchen until the supporting base of the counters and stools which is about 10 to 15 cm. When a floor is laid below the supporting base, the risk of creaking is high. This has to do with the fact that the Floor no longer maintains its natural effect. In many cases this will result in a creaking floor. Something you obviously don’t want when you have just laid a beautiful Hybrid Wood floor in the kitchen.

Laying Hybrid Wood in the Kitchen

In addition to the water and scratch resistance of our Hybrid Wood floor, they are extremely durable and, of course, have a beautiful look. Now add the convenient Fastclick installation system, and you have a Floer that is also easy to install yourself. All this makes our revolutionary Hybrid Wood an extremely suitable option for the kitchen! Still prefer a Floer that offers 100% waterproof benefits? Go for one of our Vinyl Floors! These not only offer complete protection against water, but also have great heat resistance, sound-absorbing properties, and a realistic oak look.
