As soon as you step inside a building, the floor comes into immediate contact with you. Therefore, it goes without saying that the floor needs to be in excellent condition, as it is the most frequently used part of a building. In this blog, we provide inspiration for office and project design.

Wear resistance on the floor

One of the most important aspects of a building’s floor is that it sees a lot of use and needs to withstand many footsteps. This is why it’s crucial for floors to be wear-resistant. The wear resistance of a floor is important for determining its ability to withstand intense use and indicates how much it will wear and how long it will last. Office floors, for example, are used frequently and should have a wear-resistant top layer that can handle rough handling. Most laminate floors fall into a high usage class, such as herringbone laminate floors with an AC6 usage class. These floors are suitable for both intensive domestic and commercial use and have a wear-resistant top layer, making them ideal for use in any building.

Office project design

In an office, everyone walks and slides chairs across the floor, making it a vulnerable area. To provide the right office flooring, consider Click Vinyl flooring. These floors are easy to install and have an extremely strong wear layer. As a result, your company doesn’t have to worry about the floor and can enjoy a very hard-wearing office floor. Several offices have already used Tile Click Vinyl flooring. Even if there’s an office dog, it won’t be a problem. The four-legged friend can simply go about its business undisturbed on the office floor. For more information on office flooring, check out “What is the Best Office Floor?”

If you’re in need of a water-resistant floor, consider installing a vinyl floor. The Dryback and Rigid Click Vinyl floors are completely water-resistant, making them ideal for use in a bar, for example. Both vinyl floors are also fitted with a rock-solid wear layer. For those operating in the hospitality industry, consider installing a herringbone design. Floer offers a wide range of Herringbone Vinyl floors, ranging from standard to XL Herringbone and from white to black oak. With so many options to choose from, you can create a modern interior that fits your needs.

Instead of mounting cabinets on the walls, we mount from the floor to the wall. In addition to the floors, you can also give the walls a makeover with Floer. By using Akupanel Wall Panels, you can improve the acoustics in the room. The Akupanel Wall Panels are easy to assemble, which makes them ideal for large projects. With a length of 300cm, the XL wall panels can be installed on almost any wall. Moreover, the Akupanels are produced sustainably, using recycled PET bottles in the felt. So, in addition to improving room acoustics, the panels also contribute to a better environment. This makes them a perfect item for project design 😉.
